Means used by School to implement policy:
The school feels it is desirable and often necessary to involve parents/guardians in school activities. Such involvement however, must be covered under the school insurance policy.
- To foster close links and good working relationship with parents.
- To inform parents of the school’s ethos, policies and curriculum.
- To keep parents informed about their child’s progress and problems or difficulties.
- To make parents aware that the education of the child is a partnership.
Means used by School to implement policy:
- Informal contact with parents
- Telephone
- Letters to parents in general.
- Homework Notebook.
- Induction Day (for infants and parents in previous June)
- Parent/Teacher meetings each October and June.
- Incidental visits by parents.
- Open Day.
- School Reports.
- Preparation for Sacraments/Meetings.
- Parents’ Council Involvement.
- Talks/Lectures/Courses organized for parents.
- Parents’ Club.
