Week 12: 23rd – 27th November

First Class

• Addition tables +10
• English spellings: ship, skip, trip, miss, kiss, pink, this, still milk, twig, slid & zip.
• Reading: Pages 13, 14, 15 and 16. (Read one page a night, see powerpoint.)
• Supplementary reading: Read a short comprehension each night on the powerpoint (orally answer the questions) and book folder book.
• Irish reading: Pages 13, 14, 15 and 16.
• Maths: Master your maths book: Week 12 Pages 28, 29 and 77 (test at the back). These books can stay at home until Monday the 14th December.

MS. O’LOUGHLIN
Second Class

Homework for 23rd-27th November:

• English Spellings Week 12
• Addition: -2 tables
• I have given four comprehensions for the week. Read one comprehension each night. Answer questions orally.
• Gaeilge: 8 spellings for the week. Learn two each evening.
• Cairde le Chéile pages 26&27
• Readers will be sent home in a folder each week. That book is to be kept at home for the week and returned on Friday with the folder.

The children will be tested on their English spellings, Irish spellings and tables every Friday. All work will be prepared in school.
