Welcome to Croom NS

This video was recorded on May 17th 2023 as part of our BLAST (Bringing Live Artists to Students and Teachers), artist-in-residency programme. BLAST is funded by the Department of Education and our project was administered by Limerick Education Centre. We were thrilled to work with musician, songwriter and music therapist, Damien Drea. Damien visited each of our classes throughout the residency. He stewarded the recording of this school song, which gives a snapshot of the fantastic opportunities and initiatives which our pupils in Croom NS partake in throughout the school year. The singing is provided by Senior Infants, 1st and 2nd Classes and on tin whistle and concertina are pupils from 5th class. Well done to all the children involved and special thanks to our Department of Education for funding this project and our local Education Centre in Limerick for administering the project.
