With the last few days of the final term for the 2017-2018 school year upon us, it is a time to reflect on the great work that has been completed by children and staff in St. Mary’s National School, Croom. From those amazing Christmas Concerts to a memorable Communion Day, and everything else in between, it has really been a year where pupils have excelled and invested a massive effort into their activities.
It is also with sadness that the school bids farewell to our Sixth Class, who have proved to be great role models for the younger students. Their good nature and sense of humour will be sorely missed by pupils and staff alike. I would like to thank everyone that welcomed me to the school and to Croom in January and have made the last 6 months so enjoyable.
Finally I would like everyone to keep Sr. Helen O’Connor in their’ thoughts and prayers as she currently battles an illness.
Have a great summer and see you all on Thursday August 30th.
Is mise le meas,
Mr. E Murphy (Principal)
